The I-Cubed project congratulates all of the Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation’s Anchors Interns for a job well done. On Thursday, May 16, 2013, City Tech faculty, staff and students along with BNYDC professionals, mentors and advisors came together to support and listen to the work done by the Anchors interns at the Navy Yard. The Anchors interns worked on projects in Design and Construction, Engineering, Facilities Management and Information Technology. I-Cubed is very proud of all of the interns and we thank the Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation for providing students with a nurturing learning environment.
In addition to the fabulous presentations by our Anchors Interns, I-Cubed is proud to have been involved with the development of the CUNY Service Corps Program at City Tech. Through the CUNY Service Corps, students will be able to give back to their communities by participating in paid service-based internships in non-profit and government agencies in New York City. The purpose of the program is to help make New York City greener, healthier, better educated and more economically sound. City Tech is proud to be one of seven CUNY schools to receive this funding and we are thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity to our students.
