The purpose of the I3 Incubator is to serve as a platform for sharing knowledge, data, and resources across all NSF projects. The following categories represent major areas of focus for each grant.     Multiple levels of mentoring by peer leaders (current students) and graduate students that are STEM alumni of City Tech. Creation of leadership roles for promising students. Presentations by counselors from the Counseling Center. STEM Learning Community created. Meetings each semester to sustain social support and disseminate information about research, internship and other opportunities. Paid research stipends.

    Long term plan to improve lab content, integrate across NSF funded projects.

    STEP-MMNet
    ENGR 1000 and SCI 1000 are now permanent courses. Peer assisted learning and STEM Learning Community institutionalized. Independent Study course used for Peer Assisted Learning peer training. Professional development of faculty will continue to pay dividends. Culture of collecting STEM enrollment and graduation data expanded.
