This talk will discuss an approach to infusing Computational Thinking (CT) and AI concepts into existing lecture activities within non-computer science subject material
Professor Douglas Moody will discuss the fundamental building blocks of AI tools (such as Large Language Models), followed by demonstrations of how www.ctforall.net resources can guide incorporation of these building blocks into lecture plans and course activities. The goal is to enable general education courses to include CT and AI fundamentals, enabling all students to be knowledgeable in this new critical area of technology. (The talk will not discuss identifying inappropriate student use of AI tools or issues involving AI ethics.)
