Khalid Lachheb Works in the Works Poster - 2016-2

Although the first Arabic dictionary was developed with Al-Khalil in the eighth century, the state of the art in Arabic dictionaries has not made much progress and falls far behind dictionaries for other languages, namely the Oxford and Cobuild for English and Larousse and Le Robert for French. This presentation intends to describe and analyze this issue and address the main features of what was called a “Modern Arabic Dictionary.”

I’m sure it will be an exciting event!
