Learn more about using gender inclusive language in Spanish! Taught by queer artist, bilingual writer, and community educator Ángel Escalante, Queering La Lengua is a two-session workshop and group discussion on the non-normative uses of gender in the Spanish language. Join us for a fun time learning why, when, and how breaking the rules of gender in language is a natural and political fact of culture that can help us move together towards diversity and solidarity. This event is geared toward faculty and staff, and is open to Spanish-speakers of all levels!
