Marissa J. Moran (Law and Paralegal Studies), was invited to present at the New York State Bar Association's 2026 Annual Meeting on Jan. 13, 2026. She discussed the pressing issue of the public’s right to access information and the necessity of maintaining confidentiality in a panel called “Balancing Transparency and Confidentiality: Legal Perspectives on Public Access to Information.” She also explored the evolving professional responsibilities of lawyers in AI-influenced litigation in a panel called “Truth, Technology, Filings and Testimony: Lawyers’ Duties in AI-Influenced Litigation.”
