Monica Berger (Library) has written a book on predatory publishing, Predatory Publishing and Global Scholarly Communications (ACRL). The book explores the practice of poor-quality journals, often illegitimately and unethically, publishing scholarly material without rigorous peer review. It examines predatory publishing across the world, inside and outside of the library community, and provides tools for understanding and teaching its impact and contributing to its improvement.
