Reginald Blake (Associate Provost) was featured in CUNY Research Focus in December for his investigations of how COVID-19 and extreme heat jointly threaten New York City’s most vulnerable neighborhoods. His research shows that low-income communities with limited green space, overcrowded housing, and fewer cooling resources faced the highest combined risks during the pandemic. Read the article here.
