The conference will be held at Pace University’s downtown campus and is co-sponsored by Pace and three CUNY campuses – LaGuardia, Guttman, and the Macaulay Honors College.
The deadline for proposal submissions is December 2. Proposal submission information can be found on the website http://macaulay.cuny.edu/eportfolios/rebundling17/
The conference theme is “Re-bundling Higher Education: High Impact ePortfolio Practice and the New Digital Ecosystem.” Suggested topics include digital badging, integrative social ePortfolio pedagogy, professional development, advisement, peer learning, authentic assessment, analytics and more. This is an excellent opportunity to share classroom, departmental, or college-wide practices while learning from colleagues who are actively exploring ways that ePortfolio supports student, faculty, and institutional learning.
It would be great to see a strong CUNY presence at the conference – CUNY is a national leader in ePortfolio practice, with interesting projects on most CUNY campuses. We encourage you to submit proposals individually or as co-presenters; presentations that include students and student panels are highly-encouraged by conference organizers.
Please note that registration fees were kept extraordinarily low —$25 for faculty and staff (payable at the door) and free for students—so we hope you will take advantage of the opportunity to register and attend, even if you do not make a presentation. Thank you for considering, and please let me know if you have any questions.
