City Tech Online Seminar with OER module

This online seminar runs fully online Thursday, March 8th, through Wednesday, May 2nd. There is one optional face-to-face meeting on Thursday, March 8th, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (There is no class during spring break.) Learn how to design your online course syllabus, make use of Open Educational Resources (OERs), assess blended courses, and communicate with students online. Participation is required for faculty who will be teaching partially online (hybrid) and fully online courses and who have not previously taught online. Note that the seminar will be taught by Dr. Karen Lundstrem and Professor Cailean Cooney.

This online seminar includes only one face-to-face meeting on Thursday, February 23rd, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. If you cannot attend the face-to-face meeting, you can still participate. Learn how to design your online course syllabus, make use of OERs, communicate with students online, and assess them, too. This seminar will be offered only during the spring semester and includes a module on Open Educational Resources (OERs) from Professor Cailean Cooney.
